Concept Catalyst

Hyper Dash was an idea way ahead of its time. The author was there at KID Group for many of the 10+ years of both its product evolution, but more importantly, the market readiness that evolved enough for a toy company to take a chance on a previously "taboo" category, the "exercise toy." Long term product experience like this is something that can't be taught, it's lived out, and is probably one of the most valuable senses honed while the author was employed at KID Group. The author designed and built one of the later generations of prototype enclosures that would become Hyper Dash, winner of a Parent's Choice Award in 2007, and then a full two years later, the Top Toy Award from Creative Child Magazine in 2009.
